Job description
We are looking for a dedicated security officer to ensure the safety of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors, and should be highly observant and able to objectively assess the severity of a situation.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly.
2. Reporting any suspicious behaviour to management.
3. Communicating with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel.
4. Monitoring entrance and exit at the facility.
5. Monitoring public access and ensuring the security of all personnel and visitors.
6. Responding to alarms.
7. Investigating suspicious behaviour, incidents, and security breaches.
8. Apprehending trespassers and perpetrators.
9. Maintaining an activity log and preparing surveillance reports.
10. Adhering to company policies and legal regulations
Requirements and skills:
1. The minimum qualification should be a certificate.
2. Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Ability to exercise good judgment.
5. Strong reporting skills.
6. Working knowledge of public safety, security operations, and procedures.
7. Trained in First Aid and self-defence
