Crowe Uganda is looking for a talented and ambitious Tax Senior to join our growing Tax & Regulatory Services team.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced managers and partners on a wide range of tax engagements, including advisory, compliance, transfer pricing, tax audits, and dispute resolution matters. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and statutory filings.
- Support tax advisory and structuring engagements.
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation and reviews.
- Analyse tax assessments and draft objection submissions.
- Support tax audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
- Conduct technical research and prepare reports, opinions, and client correspondence.
- Liaise with the Uganda Revenue Authority and support junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience
- CPA(U), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation, or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant tax experience.
- Practical exposure to tax assessments, audits, objections, and compliance engagements.
- Sound knowledge of Ugandan tax legislation and IFS fundamentals.
Added advantage:
- Additional tax qualification.
- Transfer pricing experience.
- Previous experience in a professional services environment.
