Job Summary: The role of Finance and Operations Officer is to backstop all financial processes within Mildmay Research Centre Uganda Ltd (MRCU), offer financial technical strategic guidance for business growth and ensuring financial reports are accurate and in compliance with all regulatory requirements; and in line with MRCU Strategic Plan and Vision
Qualifications
Education and Aptitude:
• 1st Degree preferably B. Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting). Level III professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA will be an added advantage
• 4 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance or Auditing work 1 of which should have been in a middle management position
Job related experience and knowledge:
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting standards and other regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of both a private and grant environment.
Proficiency in at least two accounting packages. Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamic Navision will be an added advantage.
