All positions are full-time, renewable contracts governed by the Uganda Employment Act 2006.
MEDICAL OFFICER – 1 Post
Requirements:
- MBChB from a recognised institution
- Current UMDPC registration and practicing license – mandatory
- EmONC certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 2 years post-internship clinical experience; MCH/paediatric preferred
- Rural or district hospital experience desirable
- Lu0 required; English required
- UMDPC registration & licence – mandatory
ANESTHETIC OFFICER – 1 Post
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Anaesthesia from a recognised institution
- Current AHPCU registration and practising licence – mandatory
- Proficiency in spinal anaesthesia for caesarean section – mandatory
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in an operating theatre
- Experience with obstetric anaesthesia in a district or regional hosphial (highly desirable)
- Luo required; English required

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – 2 Posts
Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmacy from an AHPCU-recognised training institution
- Current AHPCU registration and practising licence – mandatory
- Minimum 1-year post-qualification pharmacy dispensing experience
- Knowledge of essential medicines list and Uganda National Drug Policy
- Experience in a health facility or NGO pharmacy setting desirable

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from a recognised institution

- Hospital clinical pharmacy experience in a resource-limited setting (highly desirable)
- Availability for agreed sessional days per week

Requirements:
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health (or equivalent)
- Current AHPCU registration and practising licence – mandatory

ENROLLED MIDWIFE – 4 Posts
Requirements:
- Certificate in Midwifery from a UNMC-recognised training institution
- Current UNMC enrolment certificate and practising licence – mandatory
- Minimum 1-year post-qualification midwifery experience (2+ years preferred)
- Basic EmONC competency (training provided if not yet certified)
- Experience in a high-volume delivery setting desirable
- Luo required; basic English literacy required
- UNMC registration & licence – mandatory
ENROLLED NURSE – 4 Posts
Requirements:
- Certificate in Nursing from a UNMC-recognised training institution
- Current UNMent certificate and practising licence – mandatory
- Minimum 1-year post-qualification nursing experience (preferred)
- Compassionate, patient-centred approach to care
- Luo required; basic English literacy required

THEATRE ASSISTANT – 1 Post
Requirements:
- Diploma in Theatre Nursing, Perioperative Nursing, or Enrolled Nursing/Midwifery with theatre experience
- Current UNMC or AHPCU registration – mandatory
- Minimum 2 years theatre nursing experience in obstetric or general surgery
- Proficiency in scrub and scout/circulating roles
- Ability to work under pressure during emergencies

- SGBV response counselling training (highly desirable)
- Minimum 3 years counselling experience; health/NGO setting preferred

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration

- Minimum 3 years procurement and stores experience; health facility or NGO preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and stock management systems
- High integrity and commitment to ethical, transparent procurement

RECEPTION & RECORDS OFFICER – 1 Post
Requirements:
- UCE minimum; Diploma in Records Management or Office Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years reception/records management experience; health facility preferred
- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, and basic database systems
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; warm, welcoming demeanour
- High attention to detail and organisational skills

IT OFFICER – 1 Post
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years IT support/systems administration experience; health sector preferred
- Experience with HMIS/DHIS2 or equivalent health information systems
- Proficiency in Windows environments, networking, and hardware troubleshooting
- Knowledge of data security and basic cybersecurity practices
- English reguired; Luo desirable
DRIVER – 2 Posts
Requirements:
- ganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent
- Valid Uganda Class B driving licence – mandatory; clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years professional driving experience
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge; full sobriety commitment
- Knowledge of routes across Agago, Pader, and Northern Uganda

COOK (Kitchen Staff) – 4 Posts
Requirements:
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or primary school certificate
- Certificate or training in Catering, Hotel Management, or Food and Nutrition (desirable)
- Minimum 2 years institutional cooking experience (hospital, school, hotel, or NGO)
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling
- Ability to prepare balanced meals on a budget

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT – 4 Posts
Requirements:
- Primary school certificate minimum;
UCE preferred - Minimum 1 year laundry experience in hospital, hotel, or institutional setting (preferred)
- Willingness to follow IPC protocols diligently (full training provided)
- Physical fitness to perform laundry duties; ability to work shifts
- Good personal hygiene

PATIENT CARER – 4 Posts
Provides direct non-clinical care and welfare support to admitted mothers and newborns, assisting nursing staff with comfort, hygiene, feeding support, and patient orientation. The Patient Carer role reduces ward congestion and enables clinical staff to focus on clinical care.
- Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) minimum
- Caring, compassionate character; ability to work with vulnerable mothers and newborns
- Willingness to follow nursing and ward protocols at all times (full training provided)
- Ability to perform physical care tasks: lifting, positioning, and assisting with hygiene
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts including nights and weekends
- Luo required; basic English literacy required
