Job Details:
The Finance Manager is directly responsible for managing all finance and accounting activities of the company and supervising its entire departmental team with a strategic emphasis being placed on managing the credit risk of the company’s main core business-Pay as You Go solar home system financing
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company.
2. Lead monthly and annual reporting cycles including the budget cycle.
3. Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
4. Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
5. Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements including taxes
7. Provides day to day direction and management of finance and accounts department and support functions to fulfil organization objectives, achieving specific goals maximization of profit and efficiency.
8. Prepare financial report in order to monitor work and performance status as well as determine expenditure trends of the organization and provide Input into strategic planning of the organization.
9. Taking care of liquidity forecasts and cash management
10. Participating and assisting in audits
11. Regularly review and test controls with an aim of business process improvement and strengthening of the financial controls
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Relevant degree in Business Administration (finance or a related field).
2. Certification in any of the following ACCA/CIMA/CPA (Requirement)
3. 4 to 7 years working experience; Demonstrated experience in Financial Accounting and Implementation of Financial Controls.
4. A minimum of 3 years' experience in successfully managing team
