Job Title: Manager – Information Security Architecture and Design
Reports to: Senior Manager – Security
Division: Technology

Main Job Functions:
• Implement the organization’s information security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate the information security compliance activities.
• Provide direct information security training and awareness to the workforce.
• Monitor compliance with the organization’s security policies and procedures among employees, contractors, alliances and other third parties and takes corrective action. Manages information security incident response.
• Monitor internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained.
• Perform information security risk analysis and periodic information system activity reviews for information security processes.
• Coordinate the development of the organizations disaster recovery and business continuity plans for information systems, and tests readiness as far as security is concerned.
• Serve as an internal information security consultant to the organization and responds to all security or Audit queries.
• Monitor advancements in information security technologies.
• Monitor changes in legislation and accreditation standards that affect information security.
• Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to foster information security awareness within the organization.
• Serve as the information security liaison for MTN Group and MTN Uganda team.
• Review all system-related information security plans throughout the organization’s network and acts as a liaison between IT, BRM, Risk team and physical security team.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering.
• CISSP, CISM or equivalent Information Security qualification
• Unix/Microsoft Certification
• Background in cyber security.
Experience:
• 4 years experience in solution architectural design within a large; reputable organization with exposure to; Active Directory, Azure AD, Digital Forensics & Crytography, Penetration testing.
• Development/scripting – any of the following preferably C++, Java, Python, Perl, PHP, Power Shell, Unix Shell.
