Reports to: The Director.
About us:
St. Andrews Education Center is a private school registered with the Ministry of Education and sports.
Duties and Responsibilities.
• In charge of overall administration and management of the school.
• Plans for Physical development of the school and professional development of the staff.
Plans, Organizes, directs and co-ordinates the teaching programs and activities of staff and the students.
• Ensures proper planning of the school activities and resources in consultation with the Board of Governors / Directors and accounts to them and to the Ministry of education and Sports.
• Supervises and appraises all the employees of the school.
• Directs activities concerning student’s admissions as well as their welfare.
• Performs any other duties assigned by the relevant authority.
Qualifications and experience
• Primary Head teacher – Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in / with education with a recognized learning institution.
• Nursery Head teacher – Minimum qualification of a Diploma in / with education with a recognized learning institution for the Primary Head teacher.
Must have obtained 1 grade at both Primary and O’ level.
• Must be registered as a graduate Teacher with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
• A minimum of ten (10) years teaching experience for Primary and Five (5) for Nursery.
