Job Details:
The position holder will be the academic and administrative head of the Mildmay Uganda School of Clinical Officers and will manage it in a manner that ensures academic excellence, efficient use of resources and the welfare of students/staff, in line with Mildmay Uganda, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Sports and relevant national/international policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
A Degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health, plus a post graduate diploma in medical education or Diploma in Education. OR Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health with Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Education. He/she must be registered with the allied health professionals’ council with a current Annual Practicing Licence.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching; experience/knowledge relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies; plus ability to network and liaise with various partners. Experience in managing an academic programme is an added advantage.
