Brief description:
Overall purpose of the job
To provide quality nursing care to pregnant mothers
Roles And Duties.
Provide total care to mothers during pregnancy (antenatal) and after pregnancy (postnatal) through running special clinics.
Participate in the continuous nursing coverage on wards, receive reports and effectively hand over to in-coming shift staff
Manage obstetrical emergencies and consult the doctor on complicated cases Carry out observation on patients and maintain their records..
Register and notify authorities about births and deaths of new born
