Description
A Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations and achieving revenue targets within a specific geographic region as stipulated in your letter.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Team Management:
Support in recruitment, training, and mentorship of sales representatives.
Set performance goals and monitor achievements.
Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance evaluation
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Monitor sales performance and create action plans to address gaps.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with major clients.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Analyze sales data to inform strategic decisions.
Report regional performance to senior management
Market Expansion:
Identify new markets and opportunities for business expansion.
Collaborate with marketing teams to plan promotional activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales within the automotive or related industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
Strong understanding of the automotive market, including product knowledge and industry trends.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
