Job purpose:
The role is to assist in selling and marketing all the company products, as well as create a positive image of the company to the public. The position holder
will support the management of the branch business and operational areas under the rules, regulations and guidelines of BPIL while ensuring the accomplishment
of goals and targets given by Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the management of Chicks and Feeds.
- Work with the branch manager to ensure timely booking of Chicks and Feeds.
- Assist in issuing Chicks and Feeds to customers.
- Participate in activities of offloading Chicks and Feeds and reconciling deliveries.
- Work with the Branch Manager to order Feeds from the Feed mill and other products on time.
- Support the Branch Manager to control and manage stock as prescribed by the Company’s SOP’s.
- Ensure a clean and tidy environment at the branch at all times.
Assist in the management of payments and Sales at the branch
- Assist in ensuring that a 50% deposit is paid for all chick bookings.
- Assist in daily sales reconciliation of Chicks and Feeds.
- Work with the branch manager to market Company products & safe guarding the Company’s Image in the Community.
- With the Branch Manager, review daily sales against targeted sales and plan for achieving the set target or above.
- Work with the branch Manager to ensure that all payments are done through the authorised channels (Bank and Mobile Money)
Provision of effective and efficient support to the customers
- Receiving complaints from Customers and forwarding the raised issues to respective staff like the Company Veterinarians and Sales Support representative.
- Dealing with customers efficiently in a professional and cordial manner giving them correct information about our products to enable them make an informed decision.
Maintain proper and effective communication, reporting, documentation and records system
- Support with preparing and submitting daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports i.e. monthly sales and receivables.
- Support the stock taking and inventory management processes.
- Report immediately any shortages, losses or any other problems to your line manager.
- Correctly filling out paper work including, Daily Cash Reports and Chicks Summary Reports among others and submitting this information to the Head office.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Education:
Diploma or Certificate in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
