Job Details:
The Raw Materials Controller will ensure all stock is received, issued, and accounted for with minimal variance while supervising the Raw Materials Stores.
Key Outputs and Accountabilities
- Ensure materials are placed in correct store locations and labeled according to prescribed standards.
- Maintain compliance of stored materials with master data requirements.
- Conduct daily, monthly, and annual stock takes.
- Verify returned materials for safety and original condition.
- Ensure deliveries meet company specifications and undergo quality inspection.
- Report and follow up on non-conforming materials with stakeholders.
- Address and report safety concerns in raw material stores to EOSH.
- Lead and supervise the stores team.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies
Qualifications:
- Degree in Stores Management, Inventory, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of operational experience in FMCG or stores/material handling.
Competencies:
Knowledge Areas:
- Procurement and Logistics procedures.
- Equipment manuals interpretation.
- Business management systems.
- SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards.
- Stores and inventory management principles.
- Document management.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and customer orientation.
- Planning, organizing, and controlling routine work.
