Description
Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent persons, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (30) years leading steel manufacture
Responsibilities
• Carrying welding/ fabrication jobs of the plant.
• Carrying out quality inspections on all equipment.
• controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
• Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts.
• Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments.
• Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns round the clock.
• Willing to work in Shifts & able to Handle both production & Maintenance activities.
• Ensure free flow of Communication between all departments of Factory.
• Maintain all maintenance records.
• Ensure that all identified aspects related to your area of work that have a negative impact on the environment in the context of RL’s EMS are properly managed and controlled.
• Ensure good housekeeping and clean work environment at all times.
• Ensure mandatory PPEs are used while at the workplace.
• Identify any hazards that are likely to occur in the course of work and report to the immediate supervisor in the context of RL’s OHS system.
• Any other duty as may be assigned.
Qualifications
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Certificate in fabrication and/ or mechanics.
• Experience in different welding/fabrication processes
