PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the Compliance risk, management strategies for BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd in line with the national laws and regulations, Bank of Uganda guidelines and the bank's policies & procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Must Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Economics, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Accounting. Legal practice certification, Professional risk management certification, Accounting or audit qualification (are an added advantage)
• At least 10 years in Compliance management activities in a regulated financial institution, 5 of which should be at Management level
• Understanding of Uganda laws governing financial institutions
• Basic knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office tools Oral and written communication skills, proactive and independent
• Investigation and Research and ability to conduct performance critical analysis to assist in decision making
• Interpersonal and people management skills plus oorganization and planning skills
