Job Details:
Job Purpose: To ensure we can deliver on our service level to our global network.
Duties and Responsibilities.
• Lead and coordinate the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activities across all levels of field operations (Namanve, Masaka, Mbale, Rwenzori).
• Lead and coordinate data collection, management, and data analysis
• Draft and share reports for both external and internal stakeholders
• Improve and expand the internal M&E systems, including data / report filing and contribution to the further development of data collection applications on smart phone – tablets
• Train and support on the use of data collection applications
• Train farmer support staff to improve quality of data collection
Required Qualification, Skills, and Experience.
• BSc or MSc in Monitoring & Evaluation; Business Statistics; Agricultural Science; Quantitative Economics or related subject
• Min. 4 years’ work experience in data collection and monitoring and evaluation in coffee sector or related agri-business
• Proven strong skills in Excel and statistical packages
• Proven ability to manage, analyse and interpret large data sets
• Proven ability to work independently
• Proven experience in delivering training and technical support on the use of applications
• Good understanding of coffee production and agricultural extension is a strong advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relations
• Willingness to travel regularly
