Knowledge, Skills & Competences
• A technology oriented individual with a solid understanding of financial management and accounting.
• Data driven and highly analytical, big picture thinker with the ability to zoom into the finer details.
Responsibilities
• Work in a high technology environment which makes use of data in decision making to drive efficiency.
• Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting functions.
Managing and monitoring the budget process on a monthly basis (budget vs actual).
• Prepare monthly reports to management and government regulators
• Providing management with information crucial to the decision-making process.
• Allocate resources and manage cash flows, conduct profit and cost analyses and recommend cost-reducing so together with risk management.
• Coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization and stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Degree in Accounting and certified CPA – a must.
Details of experience
• 4 years of experience, including experience from microfinance or other financial institutions.
• Experience in finance, debt instruments and risk management.
• Work experience or internship from the big 4 – an advantage.
