Location: Uganda / Middle East & Africa
Industry: Oil & Gas
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on site experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, or equipment repair.
Core Expertise: Practical maintenance, diagnostic checks, physical repairs, and troubleshooting of site equipment, alongside supervising junior technicians, managing tools/spares, and ensuring equipment reliability.
Technical Skills: Advanced diagnostic skills, schematic and technical drawing interpretation, computer-based technical reporting, and strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems and safe maintenance practices.
Certifications (Preferred): Relevant technical/trade qualification, Oil & Gas Engineering Maintenance Certification (OPITO or equivalent), OEM Product Training, and HSE (TS Awareness, First Aid, Fire Safety, PTW)
