Job Summary: The Radiographer will perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and professionally, producing high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and patient management.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray and other authorized diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly.
  • Position patients appropriately to obtain quality diagnostic images.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
  • Apply radiation-protection principles and maintain patient safety.
  • Review images for technical quality before submission for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate imaging and patient records.
  • Follow infection-prevention and control procedures.
  • Monitor and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect patient dignity.
  • Support quality-assurance and imaging-service improvement activities.
  • Work closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant qualification in Radiography/Medical Imaging.
  • Valid professional registration and practising licence where applicable.
  • Relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Strong technical and patient-care skills.
  • Good communication and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety.
