We are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced talent to work with Simbaland Industries Uganda. Suitable candidates are encouraged to apply for the position of Security Officer.
Role Description
To safeguard company assets, premises, and personnel by managing and overseeing all security operations. This role is responsible for preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, while ensuring a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
Main Roles
- Theft & Loss Prevention
- Supervisor external security guards
- Emergency Response & Safety
• Incident Reporting & Documentation
• Access Control & Perimeter Security
Qualification and Experience
• Minimum of UCE certificate
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong observation and surveillance skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, emergency response, and incident reporting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer skills for operating security systems and preparing reports, where required
