licences. System Operator, Operation of the High Voltage Transmission Grid, Bulk Power
Supply, Import and Export of Power and; Public Infrastructure Provider (for ownership and
operation of the Optic Fibre).

UETCL invites applications from suitable and eligible candidates to fill the position of:
Job title : Dispatch Engineer – Reconciliation and Reports
Department : Network Operations & Maintenance Department
Reports to : Senior Dispatch Engineer
Job Purpose:
The Position is located at the UETCL National control Center and the position holder shall
prepare power system operational reports for production, demand and outages; and
monitor and report on production performance of generators, distributors and other
customers.

Key Result Areas
1. Production of system operations reports.
2. Generation and Demand reconciliations.
3. Deemed Energy and Availability reconciliations
4. Outage statistics compilation and analysis.
5. Market operator transaction reconciliations
6. Wheeling loss reconciliations
7. Ensure Operational Statistics are well maintained and up-to-date

The desired person should have the following essential requirements.
• Must have a Bachelors in Electrical engineering
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in power system operations
• Computer skills in advanced Analytics software applications
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership and supervisory skills
• Analytical skills
