Job Details:
The National Agricultural Research Organisation was established by the National Agricultural Research Act 2005 as a body corporate with the mandate to provide strategic direction for publicly funded agricultural research in Uganda. The organisation is composed of the Council as its governing body, Committees of Council, a Secretariat for its day-to-day operations, and semi-autonomous Public Agricultural Research Institutes (PARI’s) under its policy guidance. The Director General invites suitably qualified Ugandans to ply for the following positions at the NARO Secretariat.
Job Title: Senior – Administrative Assistant GI-1 Post
Reports to: Director Human Resource
Salary Grade : UR 5(i) Admni
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years
Job Purpose
To provide administrative and secretarial support for a proper ottice environment
Minimum Academic Qualification and Experience Required:
(i) Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Office Management or Secretarial studies from a recognized institution.
OR Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Human Resource Management PLUS a Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
(ii). Must have been in continuous service for a period of three (3) years at a level Senior Administrative Assistant in a reputable organization.
