Job Details:
Job Purpose: The role of a Salon technician is to bridge the gap between marketing strategies and sales
activities, with a focus on driving salon channel activities like product demonstrations, product visibility,
promotion, and ultimately, sales within specific channel.
Functional Outputs/Activities per key performance area:
Technical Service Delivery
• Hair Dos (Relaxing, blow-drying, setting, styling, washing, etc.) to end users
• Champion on product of focus
Promotions & Events Execution
• Execution of haircare promotional campaigns (trade promotions, trade shows, exhibitions, product
launches)
• Salonists mobilizations for mini seminars
• Mini seminar execution
Sales & Business Development
• Order generation during market storms
• Database generation from the consumers interacted
Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance metrics to identify
opportunities and threats and adjust salon plans accordingly
• Daily reports to the truck supervisor
Financial Management
• Manage the salon truck effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum return on investment.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports related to salon channel activities.
Risk Management
• Identify the department’s risks, their various mitigations and keep track of them.
Compliance
• Ensure regulatory compliance in execution of activities within the country.
• Adherence to all Movit Group and In Country Policies and Procedures.
• Prepare and submit salon truck reports.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Certificate in Hair dressing.
Comprehensive understanding of the in-country
consumer market with strong acumen for numbers.
Related Minimum Experience:
3 to 5 years relevant experience in salon business
or hair dressing.
