Job Details:
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ (loaders) performance
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Coordinate timely resolution of challenges related to loading, truck turnaround time and dispatch.
- Performs daily inventory stock take and reconciliations.
- Employee FIFO methods of the goods
- Coordinate with Sales, Production and Dispatch on customer orders, lead-time and delivery
- Determine staffing (loaders) levels and assign workload
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
- Bachelor of Degree of Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar field.
- Knowledge of Warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency and the ability to input, retrieve and analyse large volumes of data.
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
