Job Overview 

We are on the lookout for a Field Business Development Officer who is responsible for interacting with potential Logistics customers.They act as a point of contact between the customer and business and perform a range of activities from identifying customer needs to fulfilling them by providing the right services to them.You would be required to have good interpersonal and communication skills in order to perform your duties effectively. Driving growth and revenue would be your primary objective.

 

Responsibilities for a Field Business Development Officer

As a Field Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for generating leads and providing appropriate solutions for customers to boost customer acquisition levels. You will analyse market potential and track sales apart from working towards profitability goals. As a representative, you must understand all prospects’ needs, wants and problems in order to provide solutions to align with pain points. The ideal candidate must have good knowledge on the services provided.

 

  • Search and ascertain prospective clients and leads
  • Understand and learn about the Logistics services
  • Maintain positive relationship with prospective customers
  • Provide solutions to align with pain points of customers
  • Cold call in order to reach out to customers
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Identify new markets for the logistics services
  • Maintain client database and records
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports
  • Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing//trends in the Logistics market
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions via team effort
  • Keep up to date with the best practices and trends in the industry
  • Negotiating contracts with clients
  • Manage month-end closing processes
  • Build strong customer relationships to ensure they are satisfied and long-lasting customers
  • Receive feedback and work on it to resolve issues
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company


Field Business Development Officer Job Qualifications include:

 

  • Either a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, industry
  • Diploma Or Degree In Marketing And Sales
  • Prior demonstrated experience of at least 2-3 years in the Sales Industry

 

Field Business Development Officer Skills Required
