Job Details:

SBS Systems Uganda Limited is a leading ICT Solution provider and has been operating in Uganda for more than 25 Years. The Company is seeking to recruit a Ugandan based IT Account Manager to join a team of highly motivated and trained and Professional staff.

Account Managers will be responsible for interacting with potential and existing clients to determine their product and service requirements so as to propose and communicate workable solutions

The Account Managers will typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which shall include but not limited to:

  • Effectively Manage set sales targets and allocated sales territories
  • Identify new products that can be sold into both existing and potential customer base to generate additional revenue
  • Make and maintain top level contacts with key customers in conjunction with Management.
  • Advise Management on appropriate Customer incentive requirements
  • Manage submission of Tenders and pre-qualifica-tions and follow up process as well negotiating with key customer high profile decision makers profitably
  • Evaluate, review and manage suppliers and other
    Company stakeholders
  • Study and pass Designated Product certifications and training within a given time.

    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • -Strong communication, Time management, and Team working skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the ICT industry in Uganda and general industry trends.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have a minimum 5year experience in the Selling and Marketing of ICT or related products to both the Public and Private sectors.
  • A University graduate or its equivalent in a recognized university. Professional certifications with major ICT Vendors/Products/Solutions will be of added advantage.
