WE’RE HIRING | 2 Technicians / Field Mechanics – Buliisa, Uganda
OML Uganda Limited is looking for two (2) Field Technicians / Mechanics to join our team in Buliisa, Uganda.
We are a leading logistics services provider delivering safe, efficient, and reliable solutions across Upstream & Midstream Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, and Infrastructure projects.
Role Overview:
You will execute planned work orders from the Asset Integrity Supervisor/Manager, focusing on:
Proactive, Preventive & Corrective maintenance on fleet and equipment
Tyre management execution
Wash bay operations
Supporting asset reliability and operational uptime
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent)
Training in Automotive or Equipment Maintenance
Minimum 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance
Preferred:
Experience with forklifts, cranes, lifting equipment & trucks
Knowledge of hydraulic systems
Welding capability
Experience in structured maintenance departments
Key Skills:
Mechanical systems knowledge
Strong communication skills
Workshop etiquette & housekeeping
Ability to work flexible/extended schedules
Personal Attributes:
