Job Title: ELECTRICIAN
Reports to: SITE ADMINISTRATOR
Department/Division: OPERATIONS.

BASIC PURPOSE:
CEMENTERS UGANDA LIMITED invites applications from suitable qualified persons for its construction activities under the scope EPSCC-Permanent Buildings on the Tilenga project.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment or other components, apparatus and fixtures using hand power tools.
Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus and component.
Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment and appliances.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition Parts.
Supporting the civil team in all night works with electrical demands.
Read and follow blueprints and schematics.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum education :3 years in Technical College.
Diploma or Bachelors in Electrical& Electronics Engineering Preferred.
ERA Certificate Class-C (MUST)
SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of electrical works
- Accustomed to working in fast moving and changing environments
- Culturally aware and adept at working across multiple geographies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and financial management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, internally and externally.
- Work with minimum supervision
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years Electrical and Electronic works
