Job Details:
Sokoni Africa Limited is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with customers
- Provide accurate change and receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy
- Monitor cash drawer and report any discrepancies to management
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cash handling
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
