Multiplex Limited is an indigenous private company incorporated in Uganda in 1984, and has been involved in rebuilding Uganda in various aspects. Multiplex Ltd has transformed into one of the largest companies in the construction of Roads, Bridges, Buildings, Railway works, Stone Quarrying, Concrete Products, Asphalt production, Construction Material supply and Transport Services.
We are now looking for competent persons who possess appropriate skills, knowledge and right attitude to join our dynamic and valued workforce in the following capacities:
1. Project/Contract Managers (2 Positions)
B.Sc. Civil Engineering or Equivalent. Registered/Chartered Engineer.
Valid practicing licence will be a big advantage
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
2. Site Engineers (2 Positions)
B.Sc. Civil Engineering or Equivalent; Registered/Chartered Engineer.
Valid practicing licence will be a big advantage
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
3. Drainage and Structures Engineers (2 Positions)
B.Sc. Civil Engineering or Equivalent; Registered/Chartered Engineer.
Valid practicing licence will be a big advantage

4. Quantity Surveyors (2 Positions)
B.Sc Construction Management. Or B.Sc Quantity Surveying
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
5. Mechanical Engineers (2 Positions)
B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
6. Fleet Supervisor
B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or other relevant qualifications in logistics and fleet management
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
7. Assistant Quarry Masters (2 Positions)
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
8. Asphalt Plant Operators (2 Positions)
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
9. Environmental/ Safeguards Manager
B.Sc Environmental Science or Equivalent.
Registered Environmental Practitioner
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 8
10. Social, Health, Environment and quality officer(SHEQ)
Any of the following :
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and safety, Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Or Bachelors Degree in Public Health and industrial Hygiene.
Should be familiar with National and international SHEQ standards
ISO training will an added advantage

11. Social and safety Officers (2 Positions)
Bachelors degree in Social Sciences (Sociology, Social work and Social Administration) Knowledge in Social safe guards will be an added advantage

12. General Foremen (2 Positions)
Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
13. Earthworks Foremen (2 Positions)
Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
14. Drainage Foremen (2 Positions)
Diploma in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
15. Pavement Foremen (2 Positions)
Diploma in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
16. Bituminisation Foremen (2 Positions)
Diploma in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
17. Operators for:
a) Asphalt Paver (2.no)
b) Graders(2.no)
c) Wheeled Excavator 2. no)
Certificate in Automobile operation with a relevant valid operator license
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
18. Mechanics for trucks and heavy road construction equipments (2 Positions)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
19 Drivers of heavy Duty Trucks (6 Positions)
Ordinary Level Certificate (UCE)
Valid Heavy Duty Vehicle driving License
Certificate in defensive driving will be an added advantage
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
20. Site Administrators (2 Positions)
Bachelors degree in Business administration or Degree in Construction management
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 10
21, Finance and Administration Officers (2 Positions)
Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business administration ( Finance and Accounting)
Professional qualification in ACCA, CPA will be an added advantage
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 5
22. Accountants (2 Positions)
Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business administration or certified ACCA, CPA
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 5
23. Stores Accountant
Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business administration or certified ACCA, CPA
Experience in stores management will be an added advantage
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 5
24. Procurement Officer
Bachelors degree in Procurement and familiar with the Construction industry procurement processes.
Professional training in procurement will be an added advantage.
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 5
25. Cashier
Diploma in Accounting/Finance Capable of following Instructions and with experience preferably in
Construction Industry
Minimum years of relevant work experience after graduation in similar position – 5
