Job Details:
On behalf of our client, we’re hiring a strong Country Representative to oversee market operations, drive distributor performance, and ensure products are well represented nationwide. This person will be the key link between the company and the market , making sure sales targets, visibility, and brand standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support the distributor network across the country.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and correct pricing in the market.
- Lead and mentor the field/route-to-market team.
- Conduct market visits, collect insights, and monitor competitor activity.
- Drive sales targets and report weekly performance.
- Implement trade promotions and brand activations.
- Maintain good relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and key stakeholders.
- Serve as the company’s main representative on ground.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, RTM, or country-level representation.
- Strong understanding of distribution models and market dynamics in Uganda.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and reporting ability.
- Able to work independently and make decisions in the field.
