Background information about the job or company:
Senior Nursing Officer position in the Administration Department, Medical Section, reporting to the Medical Superintendent.
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordination of nursing activities
- Sensitization & promotion of outreach programs
- Record management
- Training of subordinate staff
- Supervision
- Other duties
Qualifications or requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/Midwifery or a Degree in Nursing Administration
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in nursing practice
- Additional qualification in Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) & PMTCT
Experience needed:
Minimum of three years at a supervisory or senior level in a reputable hospital or healthcare institution.
