About the role:
We’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Assurance Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical in ensuring that Spiro captures, protects, and optimizes its revenue across all business channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Monitoring & Control
- Monitor end-to-end revenue processes from customer acquisition to billing and collections.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve revenue leakage points across systems and processes.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations between billing, usage, and accounting systems to ensure data integrity.
- Develop controls to prevent future leakages and improve revenue accuracy.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze large and complex datasets to detect anomalies, gaps, or inconsistencies in revenue streams.
- Develop and maintain revenue assurance dashboards and management reports.
- Provide actionable insights on revenue trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret financial data and ensure transparency.
3. Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure full compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen revenue capture and minimize financial losses.
- Partner with IT, Sales, Finance, and Operations to streamline systems and enhance control mechanisms.
- Document and communicate best practices for revenue assurance and control.
4. Audit & Risk Management
- Support internal and external audits related to revenue processes and system controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard revenue streams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of revenue assurance incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Track audit findings to ensure timely closure and preventive action.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in revenue assurance, billing operations, or financial control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data reconciliation and anomaly detection.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Excellent understanding of financial systems, billing platforms, and accounting processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
