Background information about the job or company:
To supervise the laboratory team and ensure delivery of quality laboratory services.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Laboratory analysis and investigations
- Supervision and maintenance of the laboratory
- Staff training
- Report writing
- Other duties
Qualifications or requirements:
- Education: A minimum of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques from a recognized Institution and a Certificate of registration with the Allied Health Professional Council
- Experience, Skills and Competences: A minimum of at least three (3) years working experience as a laboratory technician in a reputable hospital
- Specific Knowledge/Skills: Good supervisory skills, counselling and good communication skills
