Main Responsibilities:
Providing data-driven insights and preparation of management information, costing and pricing Contributing to the organisation’s long-term planning and aligning of financial goals with strategic objectives.
Leading or supporting financial aspects of strategic projects.
Key Tasks
Key competencies:
- In coordination with the finance operations & controlling Manager prepare the Costing and pricing of the company Products and Services.
- In coordination with the Business Development Manager, ensure client issues related to costing and pricing are properly addressed including recoveries of Accounts Receivables and client statements reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly Management Reports i.e. Management Information Pack and monthly forecast for review at Management Board including quality controls, variance analysis and proper explanations to business performance.
- Preparation of annual budgets for both CapEx and OpEx with valid analysis.
- In Coordination with the Projects Managers and the business development manager provide supporting budgeting and planning cycles.
- Manage the Value of Work Done (VOWD) and SG&A Accruals processes for all USPC activities. And ensure are properly reflected in the Financial Records and reports
- Assist in maintaining the integrate of asset register
- Analyse factory production reports for cost data to assist in product pricing and cost scheduling.
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate inventory records.
- Provide in put to the end period reporting process.
- IFRS knowledge.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Cost Accounting: Analyzing costs of operations to support product pricing, budgeting, and assure efficiency.
- Performance Management: Measuring and analyzing organizational performance using set KPIs and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of Data Analysis & Visualization: Using tools like Excel, Power BI, or google sheets to analyze trends and present findings.
- ERP & Financial Systems Knowledge
- Analyzing, achieving goals and objectives. Explaining financial data in clear terms to non-financial managers using presentation tools like power point.
- Knowledge of financial modelling and preparation of complex business cases to guide strategic financial decisions.
- Managerial/Supervisory and influences direction
- Ability to motivate, be a team player, lead and control
- Knowledge of current tax laws
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in management accounting & processes
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Financial accounting systems skills and expertise in financial scenario simulations
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- High level of personal integrity
Qualifications:
- Must have an honors degree or its equivalent in accounting, finance, business administration, or related discipline from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification at least CIMA or CMA or CPA or ACCA).
