Job Details:

The Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and solar water heating systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Work on solar water heating systems, including collectors, pumps, and storage tanks.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
Inspect solar thermal systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.
Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges and other tools.
Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
Follow best practices for water conservation and energy efficiency.
Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including PPE usage.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain plumbing and solar system operations.
Provide recommendations for system upgrades or maintenance.
Coordinate with electricians, solar technicians, and construction teams for integrated projects.
Assist in training junior plumbers and apprentices

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Diploma or Certificate in plumbing or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in plumbing, with exposure to solar water heating systems preferred.
Proficient in pipefitting and system diagnostics.
Knowledge of solar thermal systems (installation & maintenance).
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical stamina for lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
