Job Summary
Info-Code Consults Ltd is seeking to hire a Customer Care Officer responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining washing, drying, ironing, and folding machines to ensure efficient processing of customer laundry. and provide a seamless and professional customer experience to our clients in Bulenga.
Key duties and Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines, dryers, steamers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort laundry items by colour, fabric, and cleaning requirements.
- Load and unload laundry machines following capacity and operating instructions.
- Monitor washing/drying cycles, adjusting settings and programs as needed.
- Measure and add detergents, softeners, or stain removers as required.
- Inspect laundry before and after processing to ensure cleanliness and proper handling.
- Report any machine malfunctions, maintenance needs, or fabric damages.
- Ensure timely processing of customer orders as per service timelines.
- Follow company safety procedures and wear protective gear when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a commercial laundry environment is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of laundry chemicals, machine operations, and fabric care.
- Physically fit – able to stand for long hours and lift moderate loads.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet daily targets.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Certificate in Electrical is an added advantage
- Fluency in English and Luganda or local language is essential.
- Willingness to work weekends or extended hours where needed.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time, 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday), with flexibility depending on business hours.
