Description
Hariss International Limited is hiring an Automation Technician responsible for the beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment and requires strong Automation, Electrical and Instrumentation skills to include: PLCs, VFDs, servo motors & controllers, Electrical circuit diagnostics, Instrumentation, Networking and Computer hardware.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in and direct troubleshooting activities in the event of equipment failure including participation in failure analysis, problem solving and prevention.
- Work with production team to make rapid, educated decisions regarding the issue at hand and troubleshoot systems, resolve issues by providing investigation, analysis, test, and follow-up where appropriate.
- Preventative maintenance and repair when required in addition to planned Automation maintenance duties.
- Participate in a continuous improvement culture while following safe workplace practices.
- Develop positive and respectful interactions with managers, supervisors, maintenance technicians, and machine operators.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Perform other duties as per business plan and required by supervisor/manager.
- Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Diploma, in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
Key Requirements:
- Must be able to comprehend electrical schematics and understand symbols on P&ID’s and tag references layout drawing.
- Must be able to use a multimeter and work in control panels with up to 480VAC.
- Should be able to replace and configure AB PowerFlex ,Danfoss a VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
- Should be able to diagnose the BUS fault (Profibus,Profinet,Ethercat)
- Ability to learn new technical things
- Must have knowledge of Simens, B&R, PLCs, servomotors.
