Job Details:

  1. Implement the facilities and premises management strategy as well as plans for monitoring high quality standards and appearance of banks facilities and premises.
  2. Coordinate business requirements to ensure all specifications/requirements are identified and provided for in the projects scope of works and designs, and budgets.
  3. Manage contractors and consultants in delivering quality refurbishment and Maintenance projects and ensure prequalification of all Facilities service providers.
  4. Coordinate periodic and regular repairs, cleaning and general maintenance for all bank vehicles, equipment, and premises.
  5. Manage the supply of power/Electricity to all bank facilities/Premises to ensure uninterrupted availability of mains and backup power.
  6. Prepare project and works BOQs to guide work implementation and execution
  7. Ensure effective use of the bank’s fleet and proper coordination to ensure all bank’s fleet needs are supported in time
  8. Optimize office and branch layouts for efficiency, track and maintain inventory of furniture, fixtures, and equipment, coordinate office relocations or refurbishments as needed
  9. Monitor and maintain all building systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
  10. Monitor and supervisor courier operations.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.

  1. Technical knowledge on BOQs, drawings and building standards
  2. Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and vendor management
  3. Good communication and negotiation skills
  4. Relationship Management
  5. Risk awareness
  6. Problem solving
  7. Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software/tools
  8. Ability to multitask and respond to emergencies quickly and effectively


MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

a) Academic & Professional

Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Professional Qualifications in Facilities Management, PRINCE 2, Project management is an added advantage.

Master’s degree in MBA or Facilities Management is an added advantage.

b) Experience

2 years' experience in facilities management
