Job Summary:
The position holder will support the Uganda Pediatric and Adolescent HIV Antiretroviral Therapy (UPART) Cohort study at the assigned duty station, focusing on data collection and storage. Additionally, they will assist the Data Officer in resolving data queries, managing study documentation, and ensuring effective implementation of study protocols.
Expected Key Result Area:
• Ensure the quality execution of all aspects of the UPART study in accordance with the approved study protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualification & Experience:
• Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or a related field.
• Valid registration/license from the appropriate regulatory authority.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a busy research institution.
• Strong background in handling study participants with a focus on confidentiality and ethical conduct.
• Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Subject Protection (HSP) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS care and management will be considered an added advantage.
