Location: In Uganda
Job Details:
Manage the import and export process by coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, Prepare and review shipping and customs documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bill of lading, and customs declarations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Making daily reports.
• Request for container interchange.
• Follow up on client’s cargo.
• Updating the systems with new container positions.
• Make inquires on release of cargo from clients in case of delays in ICD.
• Provide updates to clients.
• Tracking positions of container.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in procurement and logistics, supply chain management, business administration or any other related field.
Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Personal Attributes:
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
