We are looking for an aviation supervisor, who will be responsible for developing and managing Aviation refueling staff in a humane and professional manner by giving guidance as a team leader, Ensuring set departmental objectives are clear and promptly met, assigning responsibilities in the most adequate way according to the skill of each staff member.
Key Responsibilities;
• Holder of this position is responsible to account for monthly Aviation sales of 8000M3
• The job holder has 06 refuelers directly reporting to him/her.
• The holder handles stock reconciliation for Into-plane Operations of our client
• The holder is responsible for Quality and Safety in the Aviation activities
• The holder ensures good mechanical condition of aviation equipment
• The Job holder trains and identifies training need for all his /her subordinates.
• Direct management of Airside operations and monitoring the quality of Jet A1 fuel issued to customers.
• Monitoring sales volume Vs stocks levels and preparation of operational reports.
• The observance of operations safety and Civil Aviation Regulations for Aviation Operations
• Implementation and following up on MOQCAT, JIG, IATA and JIG HSSEM standards
• Ensure that aviation facilities at EJAF/Into plane uphold the company’s HSEQ standards and enforcing application of these standards.
• To supervise, develop and manage Aviation refueling staff in a humane and professional manner by: Giving guidance as a team leader; Ensuring set departmental objectives are clear and promptly met; Assigning responsibilities in the most adequate way according to the skill of each staff member; Appraising and rewarding fairly; Identifying training needs.
• Liaises with the Airport Authorities concerning facility Operations, Safety and Security.
• The monitoring of maintenance needs for fueling equipment.
Requirements;
• A strong and broad-based background B.Sc. in an Engineering or Higher diploma Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or science field.
• Experience in Depot Management
• Leader and communication skills are a pre-requisite
• A team builder and self-motivated
