Job Details:
B1 Overall purpose of the job.
• To make spare parts for machines as well as maintaining the already existing ones in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in making of spares, repair and maintenance of machines.
• Participate in the making of spare parts for machines in the workshop.
• Participate in the maintenance and repair of workshop machines.
• Work on emergencies/breakdowns as required.
2. Custody of tools/equipment
• Keep the workshop tools and equipment in safe custody after duty.
3. House keeping
• Clean the working environment and maintain good house keeping
4. Complying with safety measures
• Adhere to the safety, health and environment policy of the company
5. Other duties
• Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Workshop Supervisor/Management from time to time.
C Knowledge, qualifications & Experience
C1.1 Education:
• A Trade Test Certificate from a recognized institution.
C1.2 Experience, Skills and Competences:
• At least two (2) years working experience and knowledge in using lathe machines in a busy Organization.
