Job Details:
An HVAC technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
Job Responsibility
• Identify, Safeguard and maintain all cooling machines and systems in the Factory by making sure they are safe and in a good working condition.
• Receive, install, inspect, repair air conditioner and maintain all the cooling machines and systems including air conditioners, chillers, cooling towers, coolers, containers and some residential fridges.
• Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously.
• Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions in AC’s.
• Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls.
• Install new air-conditioning systems and equipment.
• Clean blowers and coils, check tensions of belts and motors.
• Make plans and designs of new air-conditioning systems including their installation and maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
Educational Requirement
• A minimum of an ordinary diploma in technical training in HVAC systems or any other related discipline.
Experience Requirement
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
