Job Details:
We are searching for a qualified and reliable individual who will be responsible for project management of the groups interested in waste management specific to the areas of Waste to Power, Bio- Gas , Bio Methane and to support the groups’ clean energy business initiatives in Africa.
Key Responsibilities include;
• Monitor the construction, testing, commissioning, and operation handover of the plant.
• Collaborate with GGG Technical team, Plant & Equipment suppliers for design, drawing and project execution schedule.
• Review of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monthly progress reports.
• Responsible for Operations & Maintenance, Management of feedstock
• EPC Contractor, Vendor management
• Performing testing and analyses testing data as well as making recommendations and design modifications
• Ensure cost effectiveness of commissioning & having strong understanding & control over the levers of cost.
• Responsible for Health & Safety at the project Site, Strong commitment to the HSEQ philosophy & policies.
• Exposure and experience in Waste Collection & Transportation management and Storage.
• Conduct daily /weekly /monthly meeting at site with operations team & drive business objectives.
• Responsible for Stakeholder Management
• Manage team of site, construction engineers
Qualifications;
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Civil or Environment Engineering
• At least 8 years work experience in project management, construction and operation of Waste to Power plants, preferably in anaerobic process technology.
