Job Details:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Science and Math Curriculum Translator with proficiency in both English and Madi languages to join our team. As a Curriculum Translator, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and effectively translate written science and math curriculum materials from English to Madi. Your expertise in these subjects, combined with your linguistic skills, will be essential in ensuring that the translated content is accurate, clear, and retains its educational value
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional language proficiency, subject matter knowledge, and a passion for education. We recognise that many teachers of Maths and Sciences have developed this skill in the classroom, and that direct engagement with youth in their native language is crucial to creating a translated curriculum that our beneficiaries understand well. Candidates must be in Moyo, Uganda and fluent in Madi and English.To apply:
