Job Details:
Job Purpose: Performing general repair and maintenance work involving electrical, mechanical and plumbing and similar jobs to ensure smooth running of facilities at the factory and dairy farm.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
You will be expected to be versatile, with multiple duties and responsibilities, including:
• Installing cabinets, doors, countertops and flooring.
• Identifying and repairing the source of leaks, removing dirt, replacing shingles and improving insulation to prevent heat loss.
• Replacing bulbs, rewiring sockets, installing alarms, doorbells and thermostats.
• Painting walls and ceilings.
• Repairing border walls and fences.
• Check-ups and providing regular servicing of equipment.
Minimum Education Qualification
• High education diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Ability to use common power and hand tools
• Experience installing and replacing electrical and plumbing systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication/documentation skills;
• Ability to protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential;
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills;
• Computer literacy in Word and Excel will be an added advantage
