Job description:
• For Fermentation Operation.
Main tasks:
• Willingness to work floating or alternating shifts should the need arise.
• Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality.
• Advanced critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Maintain log book/register of all operations parameter every 2 hours (PH, temperature, gravity etc.)
• High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems Basic computer operation and data entry skills
• Responsible to Operate the Fermentation process smoothly without any issues.
• Responsible for the Fermentation process of taking the Wash (Distillation) prepared during the Alcoholic Fermentation which leads to a fermented Wash with high alcoholic content. The fermentation tank is cleaned, steamed and kept ready.
• Responsible to add the Enzymes, Urea, magnesium, booster (FE enhancer etc.), relevant dosage is considered for the completion of the fermentation process every 4 times for 1 full fermentation process.
• Responsible to ensure that the Fermentation is run in
continuous mode, or in discontinuous mode when temperature of cooling water is critical. According to raw materials, a recycling of yeasts is carried out in order to reduce Fermentation
duration.
• Conduct preventive maintenance of the Fermentation
equipment.
• Ensure all safety devices of Fermentation Plant and log its status
to ensure safety.
• Maintain lognbook/register of all operations parameter is
maintained as per company norms
• Analyse Machine / equipment operation parameters so that malfunctions / faults can be detected and notify superiors to
minimize breakdown.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Shift In charge
Qualifications:
• Qualification: 12th/Graduate
• Experience required (in years): 4-5 Yrs.
• Sector: Preferred from Manufacturing - Distillery
• Age limit if any: 25- 30 yrs.
Key Skills / special skills required for the position:
• Prior Grain Based Distillery experience is imperative.
• Candidates should have experience working in industrial fermentation setup either in upstream or downstream processing in the production of probiotics or enzymes, Grain based fermentation process.
• Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
• Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
