Job Details:
Job Purpose: Supervising production teams to ensure that manufacturing is carried out according to planned schedules, and according to specified quality parameters. It ensures efficient utilization of human and material resources, and maximization of production yields.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
• Supervises all employees in different departments.
• Maintains an attendance register for all production and support employees
• Coordinate the collection of milk from farms and capturing proper milk intake records
• Monitors production processes to ensure set quality parameters are monitored and recorded.
• Ensure that production and in-process records are completed real time during production.
• Implements controls measures to reduce or eliminate wastage of raw materials.
• Compiles production related reports as may be required by management from time to time.
Minimum Education Qualification
• Diploma in dairy science and technology
• Degree in dairy science and technology or degree food science
• Training in supervisory management or similar is added advantage
Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
• Problem solver with analytical skills and strong attention to detail;
• Proficiency in MS products and automated applications to analyze production data, create reports and make presentations;
• Dairy Industry hands-on experience and knowledge;
• Excellent verbal and written communication/documentation skills.
• Ability to protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential;
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills;
