Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Planning and scheduling the work of the processing staff and supervisors
2. Coordinating all the functions of the section in consultation with the production manager and the other line managers
3. Develop and implement processing and milk receiving tracking systems, analyze milk receiving and processing and other operations activities to detect problems and challenges
4. Oversee the section activities including maintenance, section KPIs, budgets, and the staff.
5. Monitor all the system reservations for the section to ensure that they are justified.
6. Responsible for the monitoring, control, and reporting of process KPIs
7. Ensure compliance of employees to GMPs, SOPs and the health and safety requirements.
8. Interview, train and evaluate the staff for the section.
9. Responsible for ensuring that the process parameters, including CCPs are monitored, and documented.
10. Coordinate the Autonomous Maintenance function for the machines in consultation with the Senior Engineer Processing
11. Initiate and coordinate the continuous improvement programs for the section.
12. Monitoring and reporting any deviations in staff performance.
13. Prepare and maintain milk receiving and processing reports
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Dairy Science.
2. 4+ years' in dairy/food processing experience
3. Ability to manage a team.
4. Should be familiar with fluid milk processing requirements
