Position: Business Solutions Specialist
Reports to: Head Business Development
Supervises: Interns
Job Purpose: To identify and respond to new business opportunities as well as manage the fulfillment of client requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop an annual business plan for products and services to inform business strategy and decision-making.
• Develop proposals with solutions that effectively respond to client needs and requests; liaise with internal and external stakeholders and follow through to meet submission deadlines.
Use business acumen and best judgment to determine appropriate follow up mechanisms to close business with new and existing clients.
• Identify and quantify clients’ health commodity requirements and manage their fulfilment throughout the BLL value chain.
• Maintain relationships with clients by obtaining feedback, resolving concerns, as well as providing support, information and guidance.
• Effectively communicate with BLL target audiences including clients, partners, and suppliers through appropriate channels in line with the company policies and procedures.
Write and present monthly reports on client needs, new business solutions and challenges in line with the department’s standard operating procedures.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Technology, or related discipline.
• A credit (or above) in English and Mathematics at O’level is a MUST.
• At least three (3) years’ working experience in a health supply chain management organization is desirable.
Demonstrable experience and proficiency in marketing, market research analysis, needs assessment and quantification of health commodities, equipment, and devices.
• Strong communication and report writing skills; proficiency in MS Office applications.
• An excellent team player who works under minimum supervision.
